University of Toronto studied genital and subjective sexual arousals in 27 heterosexual women 20 homosexual women, 27 heterosexual men and 17 homosexual men, when exposed to sexual films.
They were shown a variety of videos: a man and woman having sex, 2 men having sex, 2 women having sex, A man masturbating, A woman masturbating, A buffed man strolling naked, A fit woman exercising and of course, Bonobos having sex
The results were astonishing!
Straight men showed a higher arousal towards women.
Gay men showed a preference to men.
Women have the capacity to get aroused by anything! I would like to point out here that although they have the capacity to get aroused by watching any of these videos, arousal, specifically of a female's, is context driven. If the context of the developing sexual scene is inviting and pleasurable, it maybe followed by arousal and consent.
Lesbians showed a higher arousal rate to bonobos having sex than to the naked man strolling!
